Artist Technique
My very original technique of painting has helped my work to become an unusual expression of landscape art. Using the finest handmade papers, original drawing techniques, and imported dyes and inks, I devised my own method of layering and then glazing the colors.
This process has created a depth and an inner glow that gives them the appearance that they are dimensional. Using acrylic paints and pastels also enhances my original landscapes. I have found a collaborative union between the graphic designer and the fine artist in myself. Where I use to feel the two were separated, they are now unified into one artist, both contributing to create a very unusual style of drawing and painting. This unique technique had definitely put my signature on my paintings. The joy I feel in my work is felt when gazing at my unusual Southwestern pieces.
